Andy Warhol (P7H)
P7 Homework October 18th, 2007Andy Warhol was one of the most important artists of pop art, which became extremely popular in the second half of the twentieth century. Though he is best remembered for his paintings of Campbell’s soup cans, he also created hundreds of other works including commerical advertisements and films.
Recently in art you have been creating your very own Andy Warhol piece of art. Instead of using the 
Campbell’s soup can you have been investigating the ‘famous’ Irn Bru can. I would like you to take some time to look at this Andy Warhol site and list three things you like about his art work and one thing that you do not.You should submit you comment by Friday 26th October.

I like the way he changes the colours of Marilyn Monroe’s features so easily.
I like how he has the main features and doesn’t do every single line.
I like his art because no one else has done anything like it.
I don’t like how he doesn’t do much in the backround.

I liked that he tried not to use the same colours or shades in the same painting.I also liked that in the paintings of people their eyes showed their emotion.
I did however not like the fact that he made quite allot of the people he painted look very sad.

I like the way he chose to have the wrong colours.
I like the way he chose not to have much detail.
I like the fact that his work is unique and i would like to see more.
I didn’t like his choice of shading though.

One of the things that i like about Andy warhol is
that his paintings are all diffrent colours.
Another thing about Andy Warhol that i like is
that is art that he did,no one else did.
1 more thing that i like about Andy Warhol is
that he added every detail in all is art work.
But one of the things that i didn’t like was
sometimes he should make is work a bit clearer.

I like how Andy Warhol has created something so intersesting.
I like how he uses a lot of colours and detail.
I like how he has painted an original picture and then made several more but painted them in a different way.
i don’t like how he has put nothing interesting in the backround in some of his photos and only focused on the face.

I like the way that he uses the colours to highlight different areas of the face.
I also like the way he has made each picture look different.
I also like it because it looks not like anybody else’s.
Although I think it can get a bit boring as he just uses 1 colour for the background.

Three things i liked about Andy Warhols art it was nice and coulorful,it was also very detailed another thing about Andy Warhols art was that it was very very good but one thing that i didn’t like was the ideas that he choose.

I liked how he uses lots of bright colours .
I liked that he came up with things that no one else had thoght of eg. tamatoe soup can .
I like how he does Marilyns hair so neatly .
I dont like how he dose’nt use very much detail.

I like how he changed the coulers and used atleast 5 coulers. I didn`t like how used dark coulers.

1 thing that i liked about Andy Warhols art work
was that his coulors that he choose were good.

1.I liked the way he was able to make a great picture by using 6 diffferent.
2.I liked the way he shades in black.
3.I liked they he uses the same picture 4 times but by making a different backround to make it different.
dislike.i do not like his food paintings because there not interesting to look at.

I like the way he changes the colours on Marilyn Monroe’s pictures.
I also like the way how on one of his African pictures he painted a man and half his body was a mermaid.
I also like the way he puts all the features in like the wrinkles and spots.
I don’t like his black and white pictures because they look dull.

i love the way how Andy Warhol uses only 5 colours and has no white in his picture
I think he makes the piece of art so lively
His pictures are very detailed and intresting
I didn’t like it how he has nothing in the backround most of his art is concentrating on the face

I like the way he changes the colours of Marilyn face so easily.
I like how he was very detailed with especially the black.
I like how he kept it simple by only usin about 4 colours.
i liked how he didnt do the face and hair the normal colour he done like blue hair and a red face and yellow lips.

1)I liked how he used bright colours.

I liked that the same picture can be coped lots of times but can still be unique.
I liked that it jumps out at you by using lots of bright colours.
I liked he only used the face and not the shoulders.
I didn’t like the dark colours because it ruined some of the features.

I didnt like how Andy Warhol only used one colour for the background and it was too plain.
I liked the way he uses a lot of different colours in his paintings.
I also liked how his paintings are very bright and have lots of different colours.
I like his art because it is different from other artists.

I think Andy Warhol’s pictures are quite weird because it is the same picture repeated and repeated but it is in different colours. I like how he did Marilyn Munroe because he drawn her with pink lips and red hair and then he drawn her with blue lips and orange hair. It is just so weird and cool.
