P7 Homework March 2nd, 2007There is a lot of discussion about whether girls should be allowed to wear make up to school and if boys should be allowed to over indulge in hair products.
For this week’s Blog Homework, I would like you to look at both sides of the argument. I would like you to give at least ONE reason as to why girls should be allowed to wear make up and ONE reason as to why boys should be allowed to have their hair in any style they wish in school. I would like you to give at least ONE reason as to why girls should not be allowed to wear make up and ONE reason as to why boys should not be allowed to have their hair in any style they wish.
Think carefully about your argument as you will be asked to support your viewpoint in class.
Your comments should be submitted by 3 pm on Friday 9th March.

For
1.I think girls should be aloud to where make-up because it gives them confidence in their self and they also think it makes them look prettier.
2.I think boys should be aloud to wear there hair any way they want because it also makes them popular so they do not get teased and made fun of.
Against
1.I think girs should not be aloud to wear make-up because it makes them look daft and it can affect there skin.
2.I think boys should not be aloud to wear there hair any way they want because some styles arn’t very nice and the teacher may think that other people are talking about them and they are not bothered about pupils and there appearance.

I dont think girls should were make-up because they are trying to grow up to fast.
I think boys should were hair gel because old people never do their hair but when you are a child everybody uses gel.

1.I think girls should be allowed to wear make up to school because if they have a spot they will be able to cover it up with foundation (ect) so they won’t get teased.
2.I think boys should be allowed to wear there hair any way they like to school because its there own style and there hair is not normal.
Against
1.I think girls shouldn’t be allowed to wear make up to school because, sometimes it looks stupid if a girl who is 10 wears make up to school because she wants to look older than she is.
2.I think boys shouldn’t be allowed to wear their hair any way they want to school because,somebody might get teased if all the boys have their hair in their own style and one boys hair is normal.

1. Girls should be allowed to wear make-up because it makes them look prettier.
2. Boys should be able to wear their hair anyway they like because it makes them look cooler and they will not be laughed at.

2. boys should not be able to make their hair styles anyway they want because they will be laughed at because everybody else has their hair gelled up and they don’t.

2. I think boys should be allowed to wear their hair in any style they like because its a good way to express there personality in what ever way they like.

1. I dont think girls should be allowed to wear make-up because there trying to grow up to fast and there killing to many whales already just wait a few years!!
2. I think boys should not be allowed to wear there hair in different fashions because it could possibly be in a dyed football colour and that could result in expultion of school because you cant wear football colours in school.

1. I think boys should be aloud to wear gel because some boys want to have there hair sticking up because they want to have there hair in different styles.
Against
1. I think boys shouldn’t wear gel because boys could get teased/bullied for the way they gel there hair.
Girls
For
I think girls should be able to wear make up because girls want to look pretty and if they have any spots, they can cover them up.
Against
I think it would be a bad idea for girls to wear make up because if they put mascarra on and they cry it will run down there face.

1. I think girls should be allowed to wear make up for cosmetic reasons,such as hiding a spot or blemish.You have plenty of time when you are older to wear make up.You are only young once.
2. I think boys should be allowed to wear their hair in different styles as long as it is not too over the top

I think boys should be aloud to have any hair style becauseit is up to them what they look like.I think girls should be aloud to wear make up because maybe they are trying to hide a spot.I don’t think boys should have some hair styles because some people might find it offencive.I don’t think girls should wear make up because they are trying to grow up too fast.

Girls should be allowed to wear make-up in school because it helps them boost their confidence especially if its spots.
Boys should be able to style their in any way in school they want because its THEIR hair,no-one elses.
Against:
Girls shouldn’t be allowed to wear make-up in school because it makes them look like they want to be 15 when they’re only 10.
Boys shouldn’t be able to style their hair the way they want because it might look ridiculous and if their school uniform is purple and their hair is orange it would take the formal look from the uniform,making it look casual.

BOYS

products because it is their choice and right.
