Technology – Transport (P7H)

1. Over the last few weeks I have designed and created a form of transport which is able to move in every direction on its own. I have also completed a design brief and instructions on how to make my model.
2. What I liked most about this activity was the races and the Demolition Darby we had with our models. I liked it because it was fun crashing our models and seeing how good each othersmodels were.
3. I was interested in seeing other peoples models which had been brought in early so I could get ideas for my own. I was also interested in how other people got theres to move and what they used to make it.

Over the last few weeks I have made a model out of K.nex.
The thing I liked most about this activity was the demolition derby. But the thing I enjoyed most about the demolition derby was at the end of it when a lot of the cars were all mashed up.
After this activity I feel a lot happier that I have got it all done and dusted because there was a lot of homework due at the same time.
The most useful thing I will take from this activity is that I can orginise my own time and get things done when I try.

Over the last few weeks…I have been making my own transport model which moves.I made a car and it it is made from something called KNEX. KNEX are quite difficult to put together.
I was interested in …seeing how everybody else made there models. Some of the models looked very difficult to put together.Some models were big and some small.
After this activity i feel… good about myself because i feel that i have put in a lot of effort into making my model.Not just my model but my talk that i delivered to the class about making my model.

Over the last few weeks I have designed and created a double deacker bus. I used cardboard,paint,felt pens and split pins. The bus moves forwards and backwards. I liked making the wheels the most. I also learned how to use proper split pins.
After this activity I feel disappointed bacause I didn’t produce to best of my ability.
I was interested in Stuarts model and how he made his demolishion ball.

1. The best thing about it was the demolution darby because i broke gerards car and some others.
2. I was interested in the ideas people had for there models.
3. After the activity i feel proud of my big big big tank because it was hard to make and it took ages and i was glad to get it done

Over the last few weeks I have designed and created a type of transport that can move in any direction on it’s own. I designed a boat. First i got lots of cardboard boxes that could attach together so that i had my basic shape. Then i paper mached it so that it was be more sturdy! Next I painted it white so that it would look nice! And i came up with a problem that the newspaper shone through.So i painted it blue and left it for a couple of hours to dry. Next i attached the wheels onto the bottom and put some designs on it like my enitials and things.
The most useful think I will take from this activity is being able to make a model move in directions so that it could survive in the dermilision derby
I was interested in most peoples models because they put so much effort into them and they all looked Gorgeous!!!!

Over the last few weeks I have been working on a car which we had to do for homework and it would be in a demolition derby. I made a car out of lego it took me two weeks to make.
After this activty I feel like I should have made better model and made it out of something better I think Marc Wilsons was the best and most complicated.
I was most interesed in Marc’s tank because it was big and powerful and could break everyones model.

1.I was interested in seeing other peoples models and I was very impressed by everyone’s models especially Mark’s huge tank.
2.After the activity I feel bad because I didn’t work or produce a model of my highest standard.
3.I might of got more from this activity if I put in a 100% of my effort into my model.

1.What I liked most about this activity was the thinking for at least 2 weeks part!I thought it was so funny because, when I was thinking of something to do,I happened to be drawing a picture of a car.I can’t believe that it took me 2 weeks to think of something!D’OH
2.One thing I’m not sure about is how Marc Wilson got his model into school!It was humungous!I think he put in a lot of effort!
3.After this activity I feel that I have shown my creative talents,rather that just taking a picture and saying I did it,or just drawing it.I think it is better to create rather than make-up and do nothing as it uses the creative side of our brains.

1. Over the last few weeks I have created and designed a model of transport out of K’nex.
2. The thing I liked most about this activity was standing up and delivering a talk to the class.
3. After this activity I feel alot more confident to stand up and say things in front of the class and I am glad to get it all off my chest

The demolition derby was fantastic but I didn’t appreciate Conor Grant’s truck being driven up my leg!

Over the last few weeks i have been making a model car.
One thing i am not sure about how Marc Wilson made is model.
After this activity i felt my car was not very good because someone had the same controler.

1.What i liked most about this activity is you got to build any kind of car and choose any kind of model but i chose a dumebuggy.
2.One thing i’m sure about how marc got the idea of the tank and why he maid it so massive

What I liked most about this activity was the demilision darbie
because it was fun seeing oter people cars getting broken by marc wilsons tank.
Over the last few weeks I have been working on a tank/robot thing .i really liked it even though the motor kept on falling out.
The most useful think I will take from this activity is how fun it was to make things from scrach and how fun it is .id would gladly do it again.

1. Over the past few weeks i have designed and created a method of transport which had to move in all directions but mines and many others only moved forwards and backwards. I made mine out of K-NEX which was complicated to use but i got the hang of it after a while.
2. I was interested in other peoples models as they were all super and a lot of effort had been put into them.
3. The thing i liked most was the demilition derdy as it was fun and you got to race your car and then we got to run them into each other.

1. Over the last few weeks i have created a model of a boat. I used two cereal boxes and a old fireworks box, a toilet roll tube and one of my brothers old cars. I think i put alot of effort into it .
2. The thing i liked most about this activity is the deemolition darby because everyone was going crazy crashing into each other .
3. Iwas interested in how marc w got his through the front door .I mean it”s humungous !!!!!!!

Over the last few weeks I have thought about what I was going to make and made a blue ship.
The most useful think I will take from this activity is that I am more creative than I thought!!!
I was interested in was how Marc Wilson managed to fit his model in the car!!!

Over the last few weeks I have been making a mode of transport out of K-nex, card and an engine off of one of my sisters toys for our homework and I had to make a design brief and a speech about it.
What I liked most about the activity was actually making the vehicle because I enjoyed working with the K-nex and especially with the engine, but it was closely followed by the demolition darby and my favourite part about that was when Daniel L pushed his car as hard as he could at mine but instead of damaging mine it made no more than a dent but his smashed into pieces.
I might have got more from this activity if I had been able to use a remote controlled car but the only decent remote controlled car I have is at my dads friends house because he was fixing it but he is ill at the moment.

What I liked most about this activity was that I got to make a car and have a race with everybody.
After the activity I felt proud of my car and happy with my achievement.
The most useful thing I will take from this activity is that I spent time with my dad learning how the car worked.

over the last few weeks i have been making and
designing my own model.
i was impressed of other peoples models and gave me ideas for making my own.
i thought my model would be good at the derby until Marcs showed up i was amazed how he managed to make something that big.
i really enjoyed the derby i destroyed i few peoples cars apart from Marcs.

Over the last few weeks i have been making a model aeroplane. It took me about 2 weeks to decide what to make. I used my brothers mecanno to make my aeroplane .
What i liked most about this activity was the demolition derby. I liked the demolition derby because i won my race and was in the final. In the final i was up against Marc Wilsons giant tank!!! I was dead meat!!!!! When Mrs Marshell and Miss Hamilton said ‘GO’ my aeroplane went side ways. I was shocked that Marc Wilsons giant tank never crushed all the little cars! Ryans car won the race!
I was Interested in looking at everyones models because they were all different shapes and sizes. Marc Wilson made a giant green tank it was giant!!! I dont have a clue how he got it into school

over the last few weeks i have been creating and desinging a truck that can move upon any flat surface.
i was intrested in marcs tank because it was so big.
how did he get it in to school ?
after this activity i feel glad that it is over because there is no more work to do

Over the last few weeks i have been working on a model projdect which was a race car that is made out of knex that has a little engine on the back of it that makes it move itself.
What i licked most about this activity was that you could make whatever you wanted to make.
It was mostly fun but then again it was also very frustrating.
After this activity i feel very happy that i had done it and i might,MIGHT!,make some more models in the near future.
