Homework – Andy Warhol
P7 Homework November 27th, 2006Andy Warhol was one of the most important artists of pop art, which became extremely popular in the second half of the twentieth century. Though he is best remembered for his paintings of Campbell’s soup cans, he also created hundreds of other works including commerical advertisements and films.
Recently in art you have been creating your very own Andy Warhol piece of art. Instead of using the 
Campbell’s soup can you have been investigating the ‘famous’ Irn Bru can. I would like you to take some time to look at this Andy Warhol site and list three things you like about his art work and one thing that you do not.You should submit you comment by Friday 15th December.

1. The art work is colourful.
2. It is very eye catching.
3. The way he takes risks with the bright colours

1.The art work is brilliantly done with the exact picture and detail.
2.It is very brightly coloured and very eyecatching!
3.That he is brave enough to take very big colour related risks.

2. How she used the special type of printing called silkscreen.
3. How he never done his photos normal,they were always different.

2.His work is bright and eyecatching.
3.His work is simple and not difficult to do.

I think Andy Warhol is great because he thinks in a different way to everyone else. He really uses his imagination and he is very creative with the way he expresses himself.
