Homework – Andy Warhol

P7 Homework 51 Comments »

Andy Warhol was one of the most important artists of pop art, which became extremely popular in the second half of the twentieth century. Though he is best remembered for his paintings of Campbell’s soup cans, he also created hundreds of other works including commerical advertisements and films.

Recently in art you have been creating your very own Andy Warhol piece of art. Instead of using the andy-warhol2.jpgCampbell’s soup can you have been investigating the ‘famous’ Irn Bru can. I would like you to take some time to look at this Andy Warhol site and list three things you like about his art work and one thing that you do not.You should submit you comment by Friday 15th December.

Hello world!

Welcome to St. Mary’s Primary School in Bannockburn’s blog. As far as we know we are the first primary school within Stirling authority to have their own blog. The blog can be used for many different things. It can be used as a class diary to let everyone know what is happening within your classroom. It can be used as a means of communication between children, parents and staff. It can be a place where we can comment on one another’s work. But most of all it can be a place where we get to show off and have a lot of fun.

You could start now by letting us know what types of things would you like to see on the blog or what you would like to do on the blog.
